1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pakistan Law Library (the "Website"), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree, please cease using the Website. These Terms govern your paid membership and use of all services, including access to court judgments, summaries, legal opinions, and related content ("Services").

2. Membership and Account

  • Eligibility: Must be 18+ years old and capable of forming binding contracts.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality. Notify us of unauthorized use.
  • Membership Tiers: Premium Membership grants full access; Free Trial (if applicable) auto-converts unless canceled.

3. Fees, Payments, and Renewals

  • Fees are displayed on the Website and may change with 30 days’ notice.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by Pakistani law.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly/annually. Cancel at least 48 hours before renewal.
  • All fees exclude applicable taxes (e.g., GST).

4. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content is owned by Pakistan Law Library or licensed partners and protected under Pakistan’s Copyright Ordinance, 1962. Members receive a limited license for personal/research use only.
  • Redistribution, resale, or commercial use is prohibited.
  • Do not modify, reverse-engineer, or use content in legal proceedings without verifying original sources.

5. User Obligations and Conduct

  • Use Services only for lawful purposes under Pakistani law.
  • Do not violate PECA, 2016 (e.g., hacking, data theft).
  • Scraping, malware uploads, or impersonation of legal authorities is strictly prohibited.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

Content is informational and not legal advice. Accuracy is not guaranteed; verify from primary sources. Our liability is capped at fees paid in the last 6 months. We exclude liability for indirect damages and third-party actions.

7. Termination

We may terminate accounts for breaches, illegal activity, or non-payment. Access ceases immediately. Surviving clauses include Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Confidentiality.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

Governed by Pakistan’s laws including the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002. Disputes will be resolved via arbitration in Islamabad under the Arbitration Act, 1940.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or banners.
